JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a 12-Month Administrative Position. School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry chief academic officer, providing leadership for program development and assessment for the following B.S. degree programs: Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Forestry, and Geographic Information Science. The School also shares a Secondary Education and Teaching degree program (Agricultural Education Concentration) with the College of Education and Human Sciences.

The Department of Wildland Resources and the Utah Forest Restoration Institute at Utah State University seek applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in forest health and restoration. The position consists of 50% research, 40% teaching, and 10% service.

Position Description: The Department of Forestry at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for a full‐time, 12‐month tenure system Assistant Professor with an assignment of 50% research, 30% teaching, 10% Extension, and 10% service. The position's start date is anticipated to be 16 August 2025.

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a 9-month tenure track appointment with expected research, teaching, and professional service responsibilities at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia (UGA).  This position will be focused on the use of precision forestry technologies, including remote sensing, LiDAR, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digitalization to improve site-specific prescriptions in forest management and advance the use of technology in forestry.
