The Forests in the Farm Bill Coalition appealed to the House Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry to use the 2018 Farm Bill to address challenges faced by forest landowners. The coalition is a diverse group of interests that has worked together for more than 15 years to build consensus forest sector platforms for the last three Farm Bills.  Read the Coalition's March 2017 letter to Congress here.

2016 Family Forests Education Award

The 2016 Family Forest Education Awards were presented at the NAUFRP General Assembly meeting in Madison, WI on November 2^nd.  We had a banner year with numerous high-quality entries.  The panel of judges from across the country was impressed by both the quantity and quality of the work.  We appreciate all the entries received this year and encourage all to submit an entry next year.
